Diamond Lake Resort has grown
from a modest fishing lodge built in the 1920's
to a full service, year round, family Resort. It
is a favorite for hiking, Mt. biking, horseback
riding, fishing, camping, visiting Crater Lake
National Park, touring the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic
Byway, family reunions, and just relaxing.
Offering 91 guest lodging facilities. 39 motel
rooms, one deluxe Jacuzzi suite,10 housekeeping
studios, and 42 two bedroom guest cabins. Motels
accommodate one to four guests; deluxe Jacuzzi
Suite: two guests; studios: two guests; and our
guest cabins accommodate six guests.
Summer activities
include trout fishing, mountain biking,
swimming, water sports, boating, camping, and
horseback riding.
Plenty of water
activities for the entire family. While here
there are certain birs to look for are: Three
merganser species (Common, Red-breasted and
Hooded), both goldeneyes (Common and Barrow's)
and other diving ducks. Western, Clark's and
Eared Grebes, Belted Kingfisher, Three-toed
Woodpecker, Williamson's Sapsucker, Gray Jays,
Steller's Jay, Hermit and MacGillivray's
Warblers, Mountain and Chestnut-backed
Chickadees.
Located just 5 miles north
of Crater Lake National Park on highway 138. It
is 79 miles east of Roseburg on highway 138; 85
miles north of Medford by highways 62 and 230;
85 miles north and west of Klamath Falls via
highways 97 and 138 west; and 100 miles south of
Bend using highway 97 south and 138 west. All
highways leading to Diamond Lake are well plowed
and sanded for winter travel. See Road Cams

Winter brings a sparkling
wonderland to Diamond Lake. With Snowmobiling,
Cat Ski Mt. Bailey, cross country skiing, snow
shoeing, and the most popular winter pass time
sliding on the tubing hill with up-hill tow.
